As a Senior Cloud Engineer at MassDOT, you will be responsible for supporting and modernizing hybrid cloud infrastructure across AWS and on-prem environments. You’ll contribute to mission-critical systems used by millions of residents, working on automation, containerization, and cloud-native architecture. We are hiring two engineers with complementary skillsets: one focused on Infrastructure & Automation, and the other on Support & Operations. Minimum Qualifications: 7+ years of enterprise IT experience with architecture and engineering focus Hands‑on experience with AWS in enterprise or government settings Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/Amazon Linux) Strong skills in Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions Experience with container services (ECS, Fargate, EKS) and hybrid storage (NetApp, FSx) Nice to have: Familiarity with Generative AI, LLMs, and RAG patterns Responsibilities: Infrastructure & Automation Role
Build and manage hybrid AWS/on-prem environments Develop CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure‑as‑Code Integrate container services and automate deployments Collaborate on architecture and modernization initiatives Support & Operations Role
