Whatnot
Salary range: $130,000 – $185,000 per year.
Role The Salesforce Administrator plays a significant role in the development of Whatnot’s Salesforce instance for the Categories and Expansion (CatEx) Team. Working with stakeholders across CatEx, Growth, Data, and Marketing, the Salesforce Administrator is tasked with supporting development of our early-stage Salesforce instance via management of automations, integrations, data hygiene, and sales enablement, as well as maintaining our ongoing environment release schedule.
Responsibilities
Support development of Whatnot’s Salesforce environment, including integrations with internal tools, systems configuration and maintenance, notification announcements, environment refresh, and AppExchange products
Manage configuration of Salesforce features including user management, security, custom objects, page layouts, validations, workflows, flows, process builders, and other 3rd party applications.
Provide frontline support to sales, account management, and launch teams—manage support requests and help troubleshoot issues, answer questions, and optimize their use of Salesforce
Develop and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards to provide insight into marketing and sales performance
Develop guardrails to protect data hygiene
Work closely with data teams to ensure fidelity and reliability of our data architecture for Salesforce products
Work cross‑functionally with data and engineering teams to develop, manage, and update critical integrations
Eliminate manual processes and bottlenecks to reduce user clicks in the platform
Help support development of junior admins and analysts through peer coaching and project review
About You
4+ years of experience managing Salesforce in a SaaS or tech‑driven environment.
Strong declarative knowledge of Salesforce backend with a particular focus on flow automation builder.
A+ communicator, always looping in impacted stakeholders and leadership prior to major deployments.
Experience managing multiple 3rd party Salesforce integrations such as VOIP systems, data platforms, and other SaaS tools (e.g., Salesloft, Gong, Dialpad).
Experience with hyper‑growth, comfortable with frequent change, and able to implement with minimal oversight.
Demonstrated ability to solve problems using data and process improvements.
Ability to quickly digest the business needs of stakeholders and apply deep knowledge of Salesforce to recommend and design solutions.
