Job Description Direct Counsel is representing an AmLaw 100 firm seeking an experienced

Intellectual Property Patent Paralegal

to support its

Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences Practice Group . This is a

hybrid role , with a location in

San Francisco , but candidates may also work from any office in the

Pacific or Arizona time zones

(Los Angeles, Seattle, Phoenix).

The ideal candidate will have

7+ years of IP experience

supporting high-volume “Hard Science” portfolios, with strong knowledge of

USPTO, PCT, and international patent rules and procedures . Responsibilities include managing global patent dockets, preparing and filing patent applications (Provisional, Non-Provisional, Track 1, Design, PCT, US Stage, Convention Filings), maintaining client portfolios, reviewing USPTO/WIPO correspondence, preparing IDS charts, and coordinating multiple projects with attorneys and international counsel.

Candidates should have exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, proficiency in

CPi software ,

ePCT , and

Microsoft Office , and a

Paralegal Certificate .

Compensation:

$110,000–$150,000/year, plus comprehensive benefits. Work Arrangement:

Hybrid schedule.
