JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Director, Change Management is a dynamic change champion supporting transformative initiatives that bring the Universal Destinations & Experiences (UDX) Transformation strategy to life. With matrixed reporting to the SVP Transformation & SVP Talent & OD, this leader will act as a vital connector between strategic vision and execution, ensuring that change efforts are not only communicated effectively but also embraced and sustained throughout the organization. The Senior Director will build change capability, cultivate a culture of adaptability and resilience, and empower teams to thrive amid change while fostering the behavioral shifts necessary for lasting impact. They will weave together the vision and benefits of change, engaging stakeholders and facilitating commitment, ultimately steering UDX toward a successful transformation.
Major Responsibilities
TRANSFORMATION CHANGE PLANNING & EXECUTION
Work with Workstream Sponsors, Leads, and Initiative Owners to assess people impacts and implement strategies for adoption success.
Conduct stakeholder analysis to map influence, impact, and readiness.
Partner with Internal Communications to align a communication strategy as a component of the overall Change management strategy.
Partner with Talent & Culture teams to align education solutions, toolsets and frameworks as a component of the overall Change management strategy
TRANSFORMATION CHANGE STRATEGY
Develop and support a comprehensive change management strategy aligned with UDX’s Transformation vision and objectives.
Ensure the Change Management strategy is integrated within the overall Transformation strategy.
Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to identify impactful change activities that support Transformation priorities.
Articulate a clear vision for the people side of change, outlining rationale and expected outcomes to secure buy-in.
Maintain a change roadmap with key milestones and timelines, ensuring transparency throughout the process.
MEASUREMENT & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of change initiatives against UDX's strategic objectives.
Set up feedback loops (pulse surveys, open office hours, anonymous Q&A) to understand risks.
Regularly evaluate change initiatives, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Present performance reports to senior leadership, highlighting successes and lessons learned.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by integrating feedback into future initiatives.
Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
ProSci certification preferred.
Experience
10+ years in large scale change management, transformation management, organizational development, or related leadership roles focused on driving successful transformations.
Additional Information
Proven track record of delivering impactful change solutions in complex environments and effectively engaging stakeholders at all levels.
Strong grasp of change management methodologies, with the ability to drive cultural transformation and manage resistance.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of articulating complex ideas to executive audiences.
Familiarity with portfolio management principles and experience in data-driven decision-making to inform strategy.
Demonstrated leadership in mentoring high-performing, diverse teams and exceptional problem-solving skills.
Ability to balance competing demands and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Previous HR Business Partner experience preferred.
