Senior Tax Manager

Role You’ll own the tax function for a significant client portfolio while building and leading a team beneath you. This means strategic tax planning conversations with clients, not just compliance work. You’ll be the go‑to advisor when complex tax issues arise, and you’ll have the authority to make decisions without micromanagement.
You’re developing talent here. Hiring, training, and mentoring senior staff while setting the technical standards for your team. You’ll also drive business development, identify new opportunities within existing clients, and represent the firm in the community. Partner involvement is part of your weekly routine, and your input on firm direction actually matters.
What You Bring
7‑10 years in public accounting with at least 3 years at manager level or above
Proven track record managing complex tax engagements and client relationships
Experience building and leading tax teams
Deep knowledge of federal and state tax compliance, planning, and research
Strong business development skills and existing professional network
Expertise with tax software platforms and workflow management
