Your next role as a Miracle Maker We are seeking a
Financial Reporting Manager
to join our accounting team. The manager will report to the Director, Financial Reporting, and will be a key member of the Financial Reporting team responsible primarily for SEC reporting and technical accounting. The role requires strong communication skills, timely correspondence, and the ability to independently address complex issues.
How you will make an impact
Assist with the preparation and filing of SEC reports including Form 10‑K, 10‑Q, 8‑K and other registration filings and the review of earnings releases.
Prepare financial statements and footnotes in accordance with US GAAP.
Assist in the preparation and review of MD&A in quarterly and annual SEC filings, working with functional owners to obtain needed inputs.
Prepare technical accounting memos and research accounting standards.
Stay up-to-date with new accounting pronouncements and assist with implementation timelines across business units.
Research, resolve, and document complex accounting issues.
Maintain the quarterly reporting calendar.
Assist with company‑wide SOX implementation initiatives, drafting and maintaining policies and procedures related to quarterly external financial reporting and other ad‑hoc areas.
Identify and drive process improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company accounting and internal control policies.
Assist with quarterly reviews and annual audit activities of external auditors.
Continue to develop and document company accounting policies.
Provide technical accounting assistance to divisional teams on revenue recognition, purchase accounting, leases, and related matters.
Assist the Legal department with the preparation of the annual Proxy Statement.
The skills and experience that you will bring
6+ years of experience in financial reporting, auditing, and/or accounting.
CPA preferred.
Public accounting experience preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Ability to read and interpret Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Ability to identify and resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems.
Ability to prepare written memoranda summarizing accounting research.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, constantly changing environment while managing multiple priorities and meeting critical deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with Workiva preferred.
Highly detail‑oriented and organized.
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies, developing strong relationships.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $140,000 – $145,000. In addition, company equity, bonus participation, and company‑sponsored benefits are provided as part of the total compensation package.
