Job Description The Global Planning Director reports to the Vice President of Global Supply Chain and will lead the development and execution of global planning strategies, drive operational excellence, and cultivate a customer‑centric culture across the multi‑site network.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a high‑performing global planning team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to drive company‑wide initiatives, build organizational capability, and support FormFactor’s growth and operational goals.
Serve as the primary interface between customer operations and business unit leaders, manufacturing, and quality, translating customer needs into actionable supply chain strategies.
Ensure on‑time, high‑quality delivery of products and services, consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
Partner with manufacturing to resolve constraints, material shortages, and production imbalances, aligning planning processes with factory capabilities and order‑commit accuracy.
Act as a bridge between production execution, Sales Ops, and business unit expectations.
Enhance supply chain agility through advanced planning systems, real‑time analytics, and lean methodologies; reduce lead times, improve on‑time delivery, and optimize inventory levels.
Lead standardization of planning processes, tools, and KPIs across multiple sites and regions; support implementation of digital tools for a resilient, responsive supply chain.
Leverage data analytics, AI, and IoT to enhance predictive capabilities and proactive decision‑making.
Skills Communication, Customer Satisfaction, Leadership, Stakeholder Management, Supply Chain, Supply Chain Management (SCM).
Education & Experience Minimum 12+ years of relevant experience in leadership roles, with a Bachelor’s degree; or 10 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 8 years of experience; or equivalent experience.
