About the role The Trade Marketing Executive for Parfums de Marly is responsible for driving retail success by nurturing key US Department Store retailer relationships (Nordstrom, Saks Global, Bloomingdale’s, Dillard’s & Holt Renfrew), managing Trade activities, such as events, pop-up stores, visual weeks, sampling and gifting campaigns, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Brand Marketing, Digital, Supply, Sales, and Field teams. This role ensures Trade Marketing strategies align with national sales goals and brand objectives, focusing on seamless execution of in-store activations, and promotional efforts while maximizing ROI. This role reports into the Trade Marketing Manager.

Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong partnerships with key retailers, including Nordstrom, Saks Global, Bloomingdale’s, Dillard’s, and Holt Renfrew. Prepare professional and visually compelling decks for market meetings and retailer presentations, showcasing brand performance, upcoming campaigns, and sales strategies. Ensure retail partners have access to necessary Marketing materials, visuals, and support for effective in-store implementation. Work closely with the Sales team to align Trade Marketing initiatives with overall sales strategies and objectives. Negotiate and coordinate pop-up events, in-store animations, and retail activations, ensuring they align with brand objectives and deliver maximum impact. Plan, develop, and execute impactful sampling and gifting campaigns that drive consumer engagement and increase sell-through at retail. Partner with field teams to ensure they have the tools needed for success. Collaborate with the Brand Marketing team to ensure cohesive messaging and consistent execution across all consumer touchpoints. Analyze the performances of Trade campaigns, provide actionable insights to improve future efforts, and regularly assess the success of trade marketing efforts through KPIs, providing detailed recaps. Track and report campaign performance, ensuring alignment with national sales goals and brand objectives.

Role - Specific Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills. Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and brand building. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing tools (e.g., Canva, HubSpot, or Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus. Experience with social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) is desirable. Proven success in managing sampling, GWP campaigns, and retail activations.

Desired Background and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in trade marketing, preferably in luxury fragrance, beauty, or retail industries. Strong understanding of luxury retail environments and consumer behaviors. Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills. Highly organized with strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
