Director of Growth Marketing (Player-Coach)
We’re looking for a
hands-on Director of Growth Marketing
to design and lead the end-to-end customer journey — from awareness to activation, expansion, and advocacy. This is a
player-coach role : you’ll set strategy and get into the details — building campaigns, analyzing funnel performance, optimizing creative, and experimenting across channels. You’ll shape how LeanLaw shows up in the market, driving measurable ARR growth through storytelling, systems, and data. You’ll work at the intersection of
brand and performance , crafting messaging that connects emotionally while optimizing for conversion. You’ll partner closely with sales, product, and success to create one cohesive growth engine. What You’ll Own
Demand Generation:
Create and optimize multi-channel campaigns (paid, content, email, partnerships) that attract and convert firms. Lifecycle Growth:
Architect engagement programs across onboarding, retention, and expansion. Brand & Storytelling:
Evolve LeanLaw’s voice and positioning to connect deeply with our market — thoughtful, credible, and distinct. Experimentation:
Build and run structured tests across channels and messaging to continuously improve conversion and efficiency. Revenue Momentum:
Align marketing programs to measurable ARR impact, turning insights into compounding growth. Fintech Growth Leverage:
Use embedded finance and payments data to drive deeper customer value and unlock new monetization paths. You’ll Thrive Here If You
Think like a
growth architect
but love to execute — testing copy, building automations, or adjusting targeting yourself. Have
full-funnel SaaS marketing
experience — from brand awareness to NRR expansion. Are fluent in
modern growth stacks
(HubSpot, Segment, GA4, attribution and experimentation tools). Know
how to translate insights into action
— from dashboards to creative briefs. Understand
subscription and fintech economics
(ARR, CAC, LTV, NRR) but lead with empathy for the customer journey. Thrive in small teams where
clarity, creativity, and accountability
replace hierarchy. Your Background
7–10 years in
B2B SaaS growth or lifecycle marketing , ideally scaling from $2M–$20M ARR. Proven ability to
build, execute, and optimize
integrated growth strategies. Experience blending
brand storytelling with performance marketing. Deep comfort with CRM, automation, and analytics tools. Fintech, legal tech, or vertical SaaS experience a plus — curiosity and commercial creativity matter most. Why LeanLaw
LeanLaw is at an inflection point: profitable growth, a loyal customer base, and a product evolving into a fintech platform. We’re small enough that your fingerprints will be on everything — and mature enough to support bold, modern marketing execution. You’ll join a team that values clarity, collaboration, and measurable impact. Here, you’ll
design the growth engine, not just run it. How to Apply
We’ll ask all candidates to answer two short questions: Why LeanLaw — and why now? Tell us about a time you created growth without a playbook — how did you decide what to test, what to fix first, and how did you measure impact? Seniority level
