Senior Supply Chain Analyst
This position is ideal for a supply chain professional with a deep understanding of manufacturing operations, MRP processes, and NetSuite ERP — someone ready to take ownership of end-to-end material planning and support the transition into a Supply Chain Managerial role.
You’ll work closely with operations, production, and finance to ensure alignment between demand forecasts, purchasing, and inventory control. This role will be instrumental in improving visibility, accuracy, and efficiency throughout our supply chain network.
Key Responsibilities Demand Planning & MRP
Develop and maintain material requirements planning (MRP) processes to balance supply and demand.
Analyze sales forecasts, customer orders, and production schedules to generate short‑and‑long‑term material plans.
Ensure optimal inventory levels to meet production targets while minimizing excess or obsolete stock.
Collaborate with sales and production teams to refine demand forecasts and improve forecast accuracy.
Generate and analyze MRP reports within NetSuite ERP to support purchasing and scheduling decisions.
Procurement & Purchasing Support
Create and manage purchase orders (POs), ensuring materials are ordered and delivered on time to support production.
Monitor supplier performance for quality, delivery, and cost; escalating risks or late deliveries as needed.
Work closely with vendors to confirm lead times, order status, and shipment schedules.
Partner with accounting to reconcile purchasing data, receipts, and cost roll‑ups in NetSuite.
Support sourcing initiatives to identify cost‑saving or lead‑time improvement opportunities.
Production & Operations Coordination
Support daily and weekly production planning meetings, providing data and material readiness updates.
Analyze WIP (Work in Progress) to identify bottlenecks or supply shortages affecting output.
Collaborate with production supervisors to align schedules with material availability.
Support capacity and resource planning, ensuring alignment with forecasted demand.
Track performance metrics such as on‑time delivery, material availability, and inventory turns.
ERP & Data Systems
Serve as a key user in NetSuite ERP for purchasing, inventory, and production planning modules.
Maintain system data integrity — including lead times, item records, safety stock, and reorder points.
Create dashboards and reports to monitor MRP execution, open POs, and production variances.
Assist with ongoing ERP optimization projects and process automation.
Identify process inefficiencies across planning, procurement, and production workflows.
Propose and implement improvements that enhance accuracy, reduce costs, and improve supplier reliability.
Support internal audits of inventory and procurement activities.
Provide analytical insights to leadership for SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) decisions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Operations, or Industrial Engineering
5–8 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or procurement roles in a manufacturing environment.
Strong background in MRP, demand planning, and purchasing.
Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite (implementation or optimization a plus).
Excellent understanding of BOMs, lead times, and standard costing concepts.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling).
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with operations, finance, and production teams.
Organized, analytical, and proactive comfortable managing details while thinking strategically.
