We are seeking Senior Software Engineers for our Customer Experience (CX) team to design and develop next‑generation technologies and complex features. As a Senior Software Engineer for CX, you will be at the forefront of tackling significant, ambiguous, and non‑trivial challenges, bringing creative technical solutions to life. You will also serve as an advocate and mentor for your teammates, displaying leadership qualities and setting an example for those around you.
Location: Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote) – New York, NY or Santa Monica, CA or Aliso Viejo, CA.
About the Team The Consumer Experience (CX) team is responsible for the end‑to‑end product experience for fans looking to discover, buy, and sell tickets to their favorite live events through our web and mobile platforms. The team delivers feature innovations at scale, serving a global fan base and localizing the experience for over 60 regions.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain impactful improvements across StubHub’s platforms and products.
Collaborate with team members to ensure best practices across our code.
Manage individual initiative priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise.
Mentor other team members and help strengthen their technical capabilities, fostering a culture of open innovation and limitless creativity.
What You’ve Done
5‑6+ years of professional experience in software development.
Extensive experience developing robust systems using multiple front‑end and back‑end programming languages and frameworks (Java, C#, Python, React, JavaScript).
Previous experience designing and developing features for consumer‑facing products.
A strong understanding of how systems interact with the broader production environment, including dependencies and platform primitives.
Proven ability to learn other coding platforms, frameworks, and tools.
Experience owning projects from the initial idea to production, while mentoring junior engineers along the way.
