Electrical Maintenance Engineer Location: Northampton Employment Type: Permanent Salary: Dependant on experience Hours: Monday to Friday - 7:00am – 5:00pm ACS Staffing Solutions is currently supporting a leading manufacturing client in their search for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their operations team based in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified engineer to contribute to a fast-paced, regulated environment where safety, compliance, and efficiency are paramount. Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing performance and compliance of machinery and systems, responding to breakdowns, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Key Duties

Conducting reactive electrical maintenance and troubleshooting across a variety of manufacturing equipment and systems Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults efficiently to reduce downtime Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance work, inspections, and associated reports Developing and implementing a preventative maintenance schedule Supporting other engineers and coordinating with contractors as needed Fitting new parts and components as part of maintenance or upgrades Managing emergency repairs and unplanned maintenance issues Conducting routine inspections and annual servicing Maintaining appropriate stock levels of equipment and supplies Supervising contractors where applicable Ensuring full compliance with hygiene, housekeeping, and health & safety standards Adhering to CCP and LCP procedures under HACCP guidelines Working closely with the Technical and Factory Managers to uphold site standards Essential Skills and Experience

Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent) Strong knowledge of manufacturing machinery and associated systems Experience working in cold environments with appropriate use of PPE (personal protective equipment) A proactive and safety-conscious approach Benefits Include
