Adventure Air, the nation’s premier gyroplane flight school and maintenance provider, is expanding and looking for a motivated

Aircraft Mechanic

to join our team. We specialize in light sport gyroplanes and Rotax engines, and we’re looking for someone who enjoys hands‑on mechanical work, problem solving, and being part of a growing aviation company.

What We’re Looking For

✅ Experience in

small engines

(power‑sports, motorcycles, ATVs, lawn equipment, snowmobiles, etc.)

✅ Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

✅ Ability to follow maintenance manuals, checklists, and safety procedures

✅ Reliable, organized, and able to work independently

✅ Willingness to learn gyroplane and Rotax systems (training provided)

But Not Required

Rotax 9‑series engine experience

A&P License (or working toward it)

Previous aviation or experimental/LSA experience

Job Duties

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on gyroplanes

Assist in engine inspections, oil changes, component replacement, troubleshooting

Maintain a safe, organized hangar and tool environment

Document work performed (training provided if unfamiliar with FAA logbook standards)

Occasional support at airshows, events, or demo flights
