Overview
Senior Fund Accountant - Greater Boston ($110K base!) A leading Private Equity firm located in the greater Boston area is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join its firm. This role is responsible for maintaining U.S. GAAP and tax-basis accounting records, preparing financial reports, and supporting fund operations across multiple entities. This opportunity will offer $95,000 - $110,000 on a base + bonus, excellent benefits, and a hybrid (2 days onsite) work schedule. Key Responsibilities
Manage accounting operations for partnerships, LLCs, and corporate entities Record investment transactions, manage cash activity, and process capital calls/distributions Prepare quarterly financial statements, valuations, and investor reporting packages Support annual audits and respond to investor information requests Prepare tax-basis financials, assist with quarterly tax estimates, and handle 1099 reporting Maintain investment basis and capital gain schedules; support K-1 preparation Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 2-3+ years of public accounting experience, with a focus on Financial Services clients Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and tax-basis accounting Strong Excel skills; experience with Great Plains Dynamics, Management Reporter, or similar systems preferred Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative finance team in a growing investment environment.
