This flat structure is the basis for our unique approach to building vibrant relationships with our clients and each other. We are committed to teaching our interns how to become skilled engineers and will provide in‑house, hands‑on training, mentorship, and opportunities to work on a variety of projects. The KPFF San Diego office is accepting applications for our Summer 2026 program. Current student who has completed at least 3 years of BS Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in structures. Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA or above in Bachelor’s coursework. Understanding of structural engineering fundamentals (free body diagrams, P/V/M diagrams, etc.). Additional Qualifications
BS Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering and in‑process of obtaining Master’s degree in Civil/Structural. Previous experience in a Structural or Civil Engineering role. Candidates with transcripts showing completed coursework in:
Structural Statics and Dynamics Steel Design Concrete Design Wood Design Seismic Analysis and Design
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $25.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on education and experience. KPFF benefits include worker’s comp insurance, sick and holiday paid time off, overtime pay, career development programs, and much more. Applicant Information
