Our client is an international commodity trading company specialising in agricultural products, including oils, fats, and grains. They are seeking a disciplined and proactive Trader to join their Dubai office to manage trading operations, negotiate contracts, and drive commercial growth within global agri markets.
Key Responsibilities
Negotiate and execute contracts for the purchase and sale of oils and grains.
Conduct pricing calculations and market analysis across global suppliers.
Provide weekly forecasts and market insights on oil-fat and grain products.
Ensure margin optimisation and fulfilment of sales and purchasing KPIs.
Oversee execution and compliance of trade contracts, resolving claims as needed.
Key Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in international commodity trading (preferably agricultural).
University degree required.
Knowledge of English law, GAFTA/FOSFA contracts, and agri market dynamics.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Proactive, disciplined, and detail-oriented with a results-driven mindset.
