Your role and responsibilities The Database Administrator supports Federal Maximo implementations by leading data migration efforts and ensuring database performance and integrity across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute data migration strategies tailored to Federal Maximo systems
Analyze source system architecture and data to identify required elements
Develop migration plans, custom objects, and workflows for data import and validation
Oversee historical data transformation and ensure alignment with project timelines
Maintain database performance, integrity, and compliance across environments
Required technical and professional expertise
Minimum of 10 years in database administration and enterprise data migration
Minimum of 5 years experience with IBM Maximo data migration and integration
At least 5 years experience with SQL Server and other DBMS platforms
5+ years experience with data transformation and validation workflows
Strong understanding of source system architecture and data mapping
Experience with performance tuning, backup/recovery, and security controls
Ability to develop stored procedures, triggers, and reporting systems
Experience auditing and maintaining data integrity across systems
Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal security clearance with the U.S. government
Preferred technical and professional experience
5+ years experience with Cloud Environments (AWS, IBM Cloud)
5+ years understanding of IBM Maximo application, functionalities, and configuration options
3+ years experience with Maximo custom object creation and workflow design
Experience serving as Task Leader or technical liaison
Experience in federal agency environments
Familiarity with Federal enterprise architecture and compliance standards
