We are currently seeking a Director of Rooms
Purpose of Position
Oversee all Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering and FB operations to insure profitability, control costs and quality standards to ensure total guest satisfaction. Essential Functions
Leadership of departments to ensure all guests are provided with quality service while maximizing room revenue and productivity, and developing managers and employees. Manage and motivate all departments to assist in daily supervision to include staffing, training, discipline, scheduling, and visually monitoring performance to ensure adherence to all service and productivity standards to provide guest satisfaction. Excellence in appearance of all areas throughout the hotel while producing constant improvement in guest experience satisfaction metrics. Closely monitoring the financial performance of all departments, to ensure that they are kept in line with budget; and providing solutions to improve problem areas and assisting in implementing corrective measures. Position Requirements
Previous Hyatt brand experience highly preferred Previous Room (housekeeping and front office) management experience, with thorough knowledge of all housekeeping procedures. Ability to develop subordinates to enhance advancement in the hotel and corporation. Ability to analyze complex statistical data and make judgments accordingly. Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts. Dependable and reliable to meet the demands of a 24 hour operation with flexibility to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays and the ability to work under pressure.
