Job Summary: Our client is seeking a Security Infrastructure Support AWS Infrastructure and Cloud Security Support SME to join their team! This position is located in Bethesday, Maryland. Duties: Architect, deploy, and manage AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, etc. in hybrid cloud/on-premises environments Integrate AWS GovCloud or FedRAMP environments with on-premises security tools: Splunk, Cribl, Archer, etc. for monitoring and compliance Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) workflows using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible Implement DevSecOps practices, integrating security scanning and automation into build and release processes Manage cloud security operations, including continuous monitoring, log ingestion, alerting, and compliance reporting Provide cost optimization guidance for AWS services, including budgeting, billing analysis, reserved instance management, and rightsizing strategies Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical SOPs, compliance documentation, and reporting for federal stakeholders Lead and coordinate across multiple teams: Infrastructure, Security, DevOps, Application teams to ensure secure and efficient operations Serve as a subject matter expert to advise federal program managers, CORs, and technical teams on cloud security best practices and risk mitigation Desired Skills/Experience: 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and security operations 5+ years of hands-on experience architecting, deploying, and managing AWS cloud services Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional preferred or equivalent CSP experience At least one security-related certification: CISSP, CISM, AWS Security Specialty Proven expertise in hybrid cloud/on-premises architectures and integration with security tools Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible Strong knowledge of DevSecOps practices and integrating security into automated pipelines Hands-on experience with cloud security operations, monitoring, log ingestion, and compliance reporting Strong understanding of federal compliance frameworks: FISMA, NIST 800-53, OMB M-21-31 Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder reporting skills Ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional teams in complex, technical initiatives Demonstrated ability to create professional technical designs, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and compliance documentation Benefits: Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Plans Employee-Owned Profit Sharing (ESOP) 401K offered The approximate pay range for this position is between

$100.00 and $140.00 . Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
