Tax Director

Our client is a public accounting firm. They seek a Tax Director to join their Financial Services group in their Boca Raton, FL office.

Responsibilities

Develop strong relationships with key clients in the financial services industry

Provide tax advisory services, including tax planning, structuring, and compliance

Mitigate tax risks while ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations

Keep up-to-date on changes in tax legislation and ensure clients are informed of updates

Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

Mentor the tax team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture

Provide guidance and training to staff on technical tax issues and professional development

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the financial services industry

Run proposals, pitch to potential clients, and negotiate service agreements

Improve the firm’s market presence through leadership, networking, and industry events

Requirements

10+ years of tax experience

Public accounting background required

Financial services industry knowledge

Experience working with Private Equity and Hedge Funds

Knowledge of tax laws and regulationsCPA strongly preferred

Skilled in Excel
