Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for an adult-focused overnight role, requiring Philips scanner proficiency and Epic EMR experience.
Responsibilities Work in a community hospital MRI unit with adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, and ER/trauma cases Utilize Philips MRI equipment and PACS system Night shift schedule: 3x12 hour overnights, Friday to Sunday, 18:00 to 6:30 May work independently or with a new tech in training Epic charting experience is required First-time travelers are accepted Must be able to work independently or train alongside a new technologist Black scrubs required Travelers must be clean shaven for FIT testing and must complete an OSHA Respirator Clearance prior to start Pre-start modules must be completed, approximately 1 hour for allied staff Travelers may not work more than 1 year consecutively at the facility and must take a 6 month break before returning
Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist Current BLS certification required ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification accepted Experience with Philips scanners is required Ability to start peripheral IVs and administer contrast media Experience in adult acute care, ICU, outpatient, and ER/trauma settings Must provide 2 professional supervisor references from the past 2 years Must live more than 70 miles from the facility to be considered License required if applicable
