Job Description
Join a reputable employer in the Farmingdale, NY area that is expanding and hiring several experienced Diesel Truck Mechanics to maintain and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks. Mechanics will perform repairs and maintenance on a wide variety of vehicles including semi-trucks, dump trucks, box trucks, flatbed trucks, Reefer trucks, five tons, box trucks, and more.

Perform preventive maintenance services Maintain work area safety Conduct diesel repairs, service, and diagnostics Service customers and handle road calls Diagnose and repair malfunctions Work with minimal supervision Inspect trucks for proper working condition Perform routine maintenance Inspect, test, and diagnose defective equipment Repair major components (engine, transmission, differentials) Comply with federal and state vehicle requirements Requirement:
3+ years of diesel/automotive mechanic experience Strong diagnostic troubleshooting skills Must have basic computer skills Diesel Mechanic/Technician training (a plus) Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred Strong communication skills High school diploma or equivalent Must have your own set of tools
