Must-Have: Experience in pediatric outpatient therapy. Knowledge of and experience with pediatric diagnoses including but not limited to prematurity, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, oral aversion, ADHD, coordination impairment, and concussion. Experience using assessment tools such as PDMS2, BOT2, VMI, and sensory profiles.
Description: Seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to work daytime shifts from Monday to Friday. The position involves working with pediatric outpatient patients with a wide variety of diagnoses. Skills required include experience in acute care and outpatient clinic settings focused on pediatrics. Experience with the EPIC charting system is preferred. The clinic is open from Monday through Thursday and Friday with adjusted hours. Specific days and hours will be determined based on the skill set of the applicant. Holiday work may be required as needed. Patients in this unit typically range from birth to adolescence. Daily productivity targets are set at 60%. This role requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, including therapies such as physical therapy and speech-language pathology. Medical or religious vaccine exemptions are permitted as per facility requirements. Applicants must be prepared to comply with state requirements regarding licensing and background checks.
