Project Overview:
Support and maintain existing custom Salesforce applications. Participate in the SDLC for the new CT-KIND system. Work with the System Integrator for knowledge transfer and ongoing solution maintenance. Support mission-critical child welfare systems including CT-KIND and IV-E SACWIS.
Primary Responsibilities:
Participate in all phases of the SDLC: requirements verification, design, development, testing, maintenance, and support. Design and develop Salesforce solutions using
APEX ,
Visualforce , and
Lightning pages . Apply
OOP principles, CRUD operations, SOQL, design patterns , and Salesforce configuration best practices. Provide end-to-end full stack development support, including integration with other applications. Maintain technical documentation for development, implementation, and maintenance. Mentor less experienced staff and provide guidance on best practices. Collaborate with clients to analyze requirements and implement solutions. Proactively manage and drive work from requirements to deployment.
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum
5 years of Salesforce development
experience. Strong proficiency in
APEX OOP
and Salesforce
design patterns . Experience with
.NET OOP ,
SOA , and SQL. Experience with JavaScript frameworks (preferred). End-to-end web development experience. Strong
analytical, abstract thinking, and problem-solving skills . Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to work independently, organize work, and take initiative.
Preferred Attributes:
10+ years of professional experience in IT development and architecture roles. Ability to mentor junior developers and share technical judgment with the team. Creativity, flexibility, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Key Competencies:
Full stack Salesforce and web application development. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Strong knowledge of child welfare system workflows and regulatory requirements is a plus. Self-directed, organized, and pro-active approach to project delivery.
