The Role
As a
Senior Software Engineer , you'll play a pivotal role in developing the core technology that powers the platform. This role offers the opportunity to shape foundational systems, contribute to architectural decisions, and deliver impactful features that bring the product vision to life.
You'll collaborate closely with the founding engineering team and leadership to design, build, and scale high-performance backend services and, depending on your strengths, contribute to building user-facing components as well. Whether you lean backend or fullstack, your work will directly influence how enterprise customers experience and adopt AI-driven automation.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and Build Core Systems:
Partner with leadership to design and implement foundational components of the platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. Develop New Product Capabilities:
Own end-to-end delivery of features-from concept through deployment-that expand what the platform can do. Shape the Technical Roadmap:
Contribute to strategic decisions around architecture, frameworks, and tooling as the company scales. Collaborate Cross-Functionally:
Work with product, design, and operations teams to deliver elegant, high-impact solutions aligned with business needs. Champion Engineering Excellence:
Establish best practices, mentor other engineers, and foster a culture of quality and innovation. Iterate and Ship Quickly:
Help deliver the initial product milestones and move fast in an environment that values speed, ownership, and learning. Qualifications
5+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally including work at fast-paced or early-stage environments. Experience building new systems or products from the ground up ("zero-to-one" development). Strong technical foundation in software architecture and system design. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams. Comfort operating in a dynamic startup environment where priorities evolve rapidly. Nice to Have:
Proficiency with technologies in their current stack: Go, gRPC, Kubernetes, React, TypeScript, AWS, and Terraform. Prior startup or early technical team experience. Experience with or interest in building applied AI products. What's in It for You
