Description: Seeking a full-time Vascular Surgeon to help shape a high-quality, community-focused vascular program. This is a unique opportunity to lead program growth, manage diverse cases, and enjoy schedule flexibility with strong clinical support. Responsibilities include establishing and leading a community-based vascular surgery program, and providing advanced vascular surgical care such as abdominal and thoracic aneurysmal disease, carotid artery disease, hemodialysis access, peripheral vascular disease and limb salvage. Perform both open and endovascular procedures. Manage vascular conditions with medical therapy, lifestyle modification, and non-surgical interventions. Maintain a weekly schedule of 2 clinic days and 3 procedural or surgical days. Take 10 night or weekend call shifts per month. Share call responsibilities with an available vascular surgery team. Supervise advanced practice providers involved in vascular care delivery. Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment with cardiology, interventional radiology, and other specialties. Participate in the development and future expansion of the program, including future recruitment and transition to a hybrid operating room. Deliver patient-centered care in a high-quality, community-focused setting. Educate and counsel patients and families on treatment options, wellness, and disease prevention. Maintain responsive and open communication with referring physicians. Participate in institutional service activities at the department, college, and medical center levels. Serve as a preceptor and provide training to medical students, residents, fellows, nursing staff, and allied health professionals. Opportunity for program leadership based on experience and interest.
