Job Description Surgical Nurse - Night Shift
Location
Position located in a Level I Trauma Center with a robust surgical department.
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Night shift, including 2-8-hour shifts and 2-12-hour shifts per week. Required to be on call for 4 hours weekly with a 30-minute response time. Occasional weekends and holidays may be required.
Job Description
This surgical nursing position involves working in a fast-paced environment within a day surgery center located inside a hospital. The unit handles a variety of surgical specialties including ENT, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Gynecology, and Urology. Responsibilities include assisting with efficient surgical turnover and ensuring patient safety during surgery.
Responsibilities
Assist in surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including but not limited to ENT, Ortho, Gyn, and Urology. Ensure rapid turnover in the operating room with no robotics cases included. Provide support for pre-operative and post-operative care for patients. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Valid nursing license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Experience in an acute care setting, preferably in surgical nursing. Why ARMStaffing?
