We have an opportunity for a BE/BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join our well-established Hospital Medicine service at University of Maryland Rehabilitation and Orthopedic Institute in Baltimore, MD.
University of Maryland Rehabilitation & Orthopaedic Institute (UMROI) is the largest provider of inpatient rehabilitation care in the state of Maryland Our hospitalist team provides inpatient carewithin the hospital setting, including admitting patients, performing physicalexams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds and planning fordischarge Flexible block schedule Low Census EMR: Epic Procedures/Vents: None Mustbe BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (open to other areas) with anactive Maryland license, BLS, ACLS, DEA and CDS License.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Our hospitalist team provides inpatient internal medicinecare within the hospital setting, including admitting patients, performingphysical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds andplanning for discharge. Follow all established policies for maintenance andsigning of medical records. Contribute to the achievement of department goalsand adhere to policies, procedures, and quality and safety standards.
