Title - Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location - Flagstaff, AZ

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, no weekends. Typically 40 hours per week. If daily workload is completed, staff may be sent home early.

No overtime required. Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

to evaluate and treat residents/patients with temporary or long-term speech, language, cognitive, voice, or swallowing disorders. The SLP will develop and implement individualized treatment plans in compliance with state and federal regulations. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Screen, evaluate, and assess patients/residents to develop appropriate care plans. Provide direct therapy under a physician's direction, based on established treatment plans. Plan and conduct rehabilitative treatment programs to restore communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities. Administer, score, and interpret specialized speech and hearing tests. Instruct residents/patients, families, and caregivers on monitoring and practicing new skills. Document clinical findings, treatment progress, and evaluations accurately and in a timely manner according to company and regulatory standards. Develop and implement short- and long-term goals, as well as methods to achieve them. Provide compassionate, patient-centered therapy in a sub-acute or skilled nursing environment. Collaborate with other rehabilitation therapists and nursing staff to ensure integrated care. Maintain resident/patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA. Ensure punctuality and consistent attendance for assigned shifts. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Current knowledge of evidence-based speech therapy techniques. Familiarity with clinical needs of the geriatric population. Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills. Effective communication and collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Active

SLP license

in the State of Arizona. Entry-level candidates and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
