Material Handler
for our long-time
Automotive Finishing
client in Warren, MI.
Shift : 6 am to 4 pm, Monday through Thursday with occasional OT Sundays.
Job Duties : Operate forklift, scissor lift, or other industrial equipment to distribute materials Coordinate with sales/production/purchasing on possible configuration inaccuracies within up-fit sales order and bills of materials Coordinate movement of material between the primary site and client site Control inventory of materials by organizing materials into long-term storage, short-term storage, and immediate usage Create packing slips or sale orders for outbound shipments Ability to solve material issues immediately Work with the quality department to ensure all non-conforming material is tagged as per applicable procedures. Maintain accurate counts within the inventory system Adhere to the IATF16949 requirements by ensuring that the production floor is operating efficiently based on current work instructions and procedures to carry out manufacturing activities. Ensure that the OSHA and internal safe operating principles are in place and adhered to Requirements:
3 to 5 years of material handling experience or equivalent Forklift experience, required High School Diploma or GED, required Valid Driver's License IATF 16949 and ISO 14001, preferred Strong computer skills
