Our affiliated practice, Aventura OB/GYN Associates, is seeking an Experienced Full Time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join their practice in Fort Lauderdale, FL. As a leading OB/GYN practice, we are committed to providing exceptional care for women at every stage of life. The ideal candidate will be certified, highly skilled CNM with a passion for supporting women though pregnancy, labor and postpartum care. 10-15 call days per month; call is taken from the comfort of your home!
Position Highlights The practice has a team of 5 physicians and 3 Nurse Practitioners Managable OB Volume of 20-30 deliveries per month Combination of office and call Deliveries are performed at Memorial Regional Hospital part of Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in Hollywood, FL Full support of in-house OB Hospitalists and midwives at Memorial Regional Full Scope with an average daily patient census of 18-20 Compensation/Benefits Highlights: Competitive compensation $12,500 Signing Bonus $12,500 Retention Bonus $2,000 CME reimbursement Comprehensive health, dental, and vision Company paid malpractice coverage Supportive and appreciative culture Two years of full-time experience as a CNM is required First assist is preferred AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife Graduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME) Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN) Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) license Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain Benefits 401k with matching Short- and long-term disability, company paid life insurance Qualifications Requirements: CPR and NALS Certification
