Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45-19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS/ALS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring
Must-Have: - 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience - High-risk experience - Immediate newborn care

The Labor and Delivery unit features 16 beds and has a staff of 120. Patient ratios typically include 1:1 or 1:2. The team includes charge nurses, patient care technicians, and registered nurses. Commonly performed procedures in this unit include vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and adaptability. An outgoing and friendly personality is preferred. Floating to related areas may be required.
