Nightforce Optics is growing, and we are looking for a Materials Clerk I to support our production operations by managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and distribution of materials and supplies. This role ensures inventory accuracy through physical and digital transactions, cycle counting, kitting, and warehouse organization. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of inventory systems, material handling, and Oracle, and will work closely with internal teams and vendors to maintain efficient material flow and support production schedules

Purpose of the Role:

The Material Clerk I is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, controlling and maintaining the distribution of all production parks which involves both physical and digital transactions of pieces. This role is also responsible for ensuring overall inventory accuracy and organization including cycle counting, kitting, material assembly, stocking, shelf-organization, and overall cleanliness of the warehouse along with loading and delivering materials and supplies. Handles basic issues and problems, refers the more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses beginning and working knowledge of inventory counting, material operations, accessory assembly, and oracle. Focuses more on a single specialty within the Materials Department.

What you will be doing: Essential Job Duties:

Maintains system accuracy in relation to inventory transactions. Receives incoming items, loads and unloads trucks, inspects items for damage, verifies purchase order number and quantity of items received against packing slip, and reviews any discrepancies. Assists departments with processing inventory requests, pulls items from inventory, posts inventory receipts, and document any inventory issues and returns into Oracle. Assist with inventory control and "ABC" cycle counts, verify inventory with cycle count quantities, submit any discrepancies to supervisor or manager. Operate forklifts, hand trucks, hand tools, warehouse truck, and other light equipment needed for the receiving and delivery of material, supplies, and parts. Organize and clear warehouse and material areas Manipulates and installs small parts and pieces to create subassemblies and kitting materials. Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and departments regarding material availability and delivery schedules. Ensure all documentation is completed and filed appropriately Work closely with Production Planners to ensure timely availability of materials for scheduled jobs. Communicate any potential material needs or shortages Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations within the manufacturing environment. Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Must have basic computer skills and be comfortable with computer systems Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to wear the appropriate PPE Ability to work in a highly structured, systematic environment and follow instructions. Must have strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and comprehend written procedures, safety guidelines, etc. Attention to detail and accuracy Must be reliable, dependable, and have high personal integrity Excellent communication skills and a team player attitude, pleasant demeanor with internal and external customers Must be able to maintain confidential information Ability to work cooperatively and professionally in a team environment and the ability to work independently Preferred Qualifications:
