Summary: The Human Resource Coordinator will maintain personnel records, manage HR documents, and update internal databases. The HR Coordinator will manage the HR inquiry email inbox and will assist with temporary recruitment for the warehouse operations. This role will partner with the HR Manager and handling all administrative responsibilities related to Workers Compensation and FMLA.

The HR Coordinator will partner with HR Generalists and prepare HR documents such as offer letters, new hire paperwork, and termination paperwork. This role will coordinate training programs, onboarding with new hires, partner with temporary agencies, and work with FST operations to serve as a liaison to answer employee questions. You will be held accountable to comply with all defined business process and the utilization of all technology platforms, as defined by FST. This role will create and run regular HR reports.

To ensure success as a Human Resource Coordinator, you will enter and maintain records for employees such as hiring, transfers, terminations, status change, etc. You will manage the HR mail, and mailers that go out to employees. This role will cover administrative functions for the CAO, HR Manager and HR Generalists.

Responsibilities: • Onboarding coordination: scheduling orientation, preparing new hire packets, ensuring I-9/E-Verify completion • Assist with onboarding coordination, including scheduling orientation, preparing new hire packets, and ensuring completion of I-9 and E-Verify • Maintain and audit employee files in compliance with federal and state regulations (EEO, FMLA, I-9, etc.) • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, wellness events, and recognition programs • Support HRIS data integrity and updates within UKG Pro (or other internal systems) • Track and update performance reviews, anniversaries, and other employee milestones • Generate standard and ad-hoc HR reports and metrics for leadership review • Coordinate temporary staffing metrics and weekly reporting to operations leadership • Assist with scheduling and note-taking for employee relations or investigative meetings • Support safety and compliance tracking for Workers Compensation cases • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information • You will be held accountable to comply with all defined business process and the utilization of all technology platforms, as defined by FST.

Requirements: • Live FST Traits of Reliable, Invested, Responsive, Adaptable, Passionate, and Innovative • Take ownership of your Duty to Communicate all required and relevant information to necessary people, departments, and customers • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Excellent organizational and administrative skills • Minimum 1+ year experience in administrative work (preferably in a HR setting) • Bilingual in Spanish preferred • Microsoft suite experience • Payroll experience preferred • High attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Proactive problem-solver who takes initiative to improve HR processes • Experience using UKG Pro, HireRight, or similar HR software systems (preferred) • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion • Strong customer-service mindset and team collaboration skills
