Job Description
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for our Cardiology Stepdown unit. The unit specializes in the care of patients with cardiovascular conditions including congestive heart failure (CHF), myocardial infarction (MI), and other complex cardiac issues. The ideal candidates will possess strong telemetry and progressive care experience, as well as a proven ability to manage titratable cardiac medications.
Responsibilities
Manage patient care with a focus on cardiac telemetry and progressive care. Administer and titrate IV cardiac medications as necessary. Conduct bedside procedures such as cardioversion. Provide compassionate and flexible teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Must have stepdown or progressive care experience. Telemetry experience is required. Experience with titratable cardiac IV medications (e.g., nitroglycerin, Cardizem, amiodarone, insulin drip). BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Preferred: Experience with prostacyclins (e.g., Flolan, Veletri, Remodulin) and relief charge experience. Why ARMStaffing?
