Must-Have: - 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an ER setting - Experience in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center - Flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department - Teamwork mentality and ability to coach and give feedback in real-time
Description: This role is within an Emergency Department known for its collaboration and welcoming environment.
The unit serves a diverse community with over 120 languages spoken in the area.
The unit typically has a patient ratio of 4:1, which can increase to 7:1 for behavioral holds.
Technicians and clerks are available to support nursing staff.
The department is equipped with advanced technology including baxter pumps and GE monitors.
Documentation is completed using a Cerner system.
Nurses are expected to have a commitment to patient experience and engagement.
Training and certifications are provided to ensure staff are well-prepared for the demands of the role.
