This position is responsible for the strategic and day to day management of all marketing-related activities and initiatives. The role works collaboratively across the Bank to conceptualize and implement a marketing and branding strategy that is aligned with and helps drive the Bank’s strategic plan. It is responsible for leading and managing vendor partners and supporting initiatives and strategies that support both the customer brand and the employment brand. This role is also responsible for public relations, social media, various community initiatives and volunteerism, website management, and internal and external communications. Lead, develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive marketing strategic plan, ensuring that it is aligned with the Bank’s goals and objectives, that it is creative and timely, and remains flexible to meet changing needs. Review, interpret, and explain the results of marketing related initiatives to ensure decisions related to priorities and spending are well-informed; this includes analyzing and understanding data and metrics, developing and communicating ROI, and preparing a monthly dashboard to analyze results against the strategic plan. In partnership with the bank’s outside agency of record, provide strategic conception, media buying, ad insertion, copywriting, compliance review, metrics tracking, and website management to ensure that the Bluestone brand, advertising, and messaging is aligned and appropriately represents the bank. In collaboration with various departments, provide various leadership, management, and hands on support for on and off-site Bank-wide promotional events, customer events, and employee events. Manages all content of the Bank’s online presence including the website, all social media channels, public relations, and related activities. This includes hands-on understanding of all channel, and the ability to lead all related technology and tools. Manages the bank’s reputation and effectively addresses any issues that might arise. Manages and provides support to the bank’s philanthropic efforts by leading meetings, managing budgets, and coordinating and participating in related donation, sponsorship, and volunteer efforts bank-wide. Collaboratively leads the administration and purpose of the bank’s customer survey program, tracking trends, partnering with department leaders, and making constructive improvements and recommendations. Provides direction and management to the bank’s agency of record and other outside vendors ensuring that the Bank gets the service and support required to achieve its goals. Responsible for preparing, reviewing and/or managing all related, policies, procedures, and budget for the marketing function and recommending and making improvements where needed. Through research and networking, develop an understanding of competitors, service providers, customers, trends, and opportunities and use that information to provide and follow through on strategic recommendations. Remains abreast of federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the position; ensures department-wide compliance with laws, regulations, vendor management requirements, and Bank policies and procedures. Participates in audits and regulatory examinations; responds to requests and findings. Ensures vendor management procedures are followed and that all outside vendors meet the needs of the bank. Motivates, leads, and develops direct report to ensure optimal performance and individual development. Provides effective direct and indirect leadership. Actively participates in industry, community and other trade organizations to promote the Bank’s visibility and brand. Other related responsibilities. The pay range for this position is $130,000 to $150,000 per year and is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.
