Position: Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC)

Location: Remote/Hybrid (Remote options available)

Compensation: $40–$60/hour (based on experience)

Overview

Healthcare Recruiters International is seeking a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) to provide compassionate, evidence-based substance abuse counseling for adults, older adolescents, and families. This part-time role offers fully remote flexibility, with occasional group sessions or client-based work as clinically required.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intakes and substance use assessments
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions
• Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans
• Complete timely and compliant documentation
• Maintain active communication with the Clinical Director and team
• Uphold compliance with COMAR and all applicable regulations

Qualifications

• Current LCADC license in good standing
• Proven experience in substance abuse counseling (individual and group)
• Strong understanding of documentation, compliance, and ethics
• Excellent communication and time management skills
