We're seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Asset Manager to lead the operational and financial performance of a shopping center portfolio. This role will oversee both asset and property management functions, collaborating with leasing, accounting, and executive teams to drive portfolio growth, optimize returns, and enhance asset value.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute asset-level strategies, including repositioning, redevelopment, and dispositions. Oversee financial performance across the portfolio: rent rolls, budgets, capex, and reporting. Drive investment analysis, underwriting, and due diligence for acquisitions and dispositions. Partner with leasing teams to optimize occupancy and tenant mix; review and negotiate lease documents. Collaborate with property management to ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance. Prepare dashboards and performance reports; monitor market trends and mitigate portfolio risks. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Real Estate (Master’s preferred). 7+ years in commercial real estate asset management, ideally with retail/shopping center focus. Proven leadership managing teams and multi-asset portfolios. Strong financial acumen in budgeting, underwriting, and investment strategy. Expertise in lease negotiation, tenant relations, and portfolio optimization. Proficiency in Yardi, Argus, Excel, and other financial/property management tools.
