CT Technologist
for a top
Healthcare
client. This skilled role performs a variety of technical Computed Tomography (CT) and general Radiology procedures under the direction of a Radiologist, requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. The Technologist assumes responsibility for ensuring the highest quality imaging services are delivered across a diverse patient population, prioritizing patient safety and care as the number one objective.
Job Responsibilities Perform diverse CT scan and general Radiology procedures at a highly proficient technical level, requiring minimal constant supervision. Apply prescribed ionizing radiation with independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to achieve optimal diagnostic images. Assume primary responsibility for designated technical areas or complex imaging procedures as required by unit needs. Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process, demonstrating the utmost quality in technologist performance. Conduct examinations on patients across the entire age spectrum, ranging from neonate through geriatric populations. Operate and regulate specialized imaging equipment to ensure high-quality output and maintain consistent operational standards. Collaborate closely with the Radiologist and medical team to ensure all imaging procedures meet diagnostic requirements. Requirements Education
Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technology School is required. Experience
One (1) year of previous CT experience is preferred. Certifications/Licenses
Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license is required. Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) and (CT) registry is preferred. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Skills
Proven ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative in applying prescribed radiation techniques. Strong commitment to patient prioritization and delivering high-quality imaging standards.
