Job Summary: We are looking for a highly organized and detail-orientedFront Desk Receptionistto join our growing team. TheFront Desk Receptionistwill deliver exceptional customer service assistance and serve as a point of contact for front desk coverage, incoming phone calls, incoming and outgoing mail, and faxes in our Forest Hills office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Greets, welcomes, and directs visitors and manages therapy appointment calendar

Manages high volume of phone calls and routes to appropriate parties

Distributes incoming mail, faxes, and deliveries to appropriate department/staff

Responsible for stamping of mail and daily drop off to the Post Office

Processes copies and daily mailing for departments

Electronically filing

Organizes and distributes testing materials

Manages the lobby area and keeps it organized and clean

Communicates any known office related issues to the Office Manager to ensure they are resolved in a timely fashion

Maintains front desk daily logs

Four holidays per year will be responsible for answering phones from home (Juneteenth, July 4th, Memorial Day and Labor Day) and on early dismissal days covering the front desk operations until the end of business day

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education or Work Experience Requirements:

Bilingual Spanish/English a must.

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Excellent customer service skills

Friendly, positive communicator via in person, email, phone, or webchat.

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word

Strong multi-tasker who has at least one year of prior office experience

No task is too big or too small.

A team player who is detail oriented and goal driven.

Physical Requirements of the Role:

Occasionally ascends/descends stairs going to, while at, or leaving work location or facilities traveled to for work events.

Occasionally moving and/or lifting objects at work weighing up to 20 pounds such as files or copy paper.

Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time up to 90% of the work day working on a computer/electronic device.

The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).

The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

Compensation: Full-time hourly non-exempt $20-23 per hour

Hours: In office, Monday-Friday 9:30am-6:30pm. Please note that this is not a remote position
