We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a leading company in the Construction industry, we believe our people are our greatest asset, and we are committed to investing in them. This role is an integral part of our finance team and plays a crucial role in ensuring our employees are compensated accurately and on time. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing and payroll taxes, preferably within the Construction industry.

Responsibilities:

As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for:

1. Processing weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices. 2. Calculating and recording payroll deductions. 3. Handling payroll tax deposits and returns, including quarterly and annual reconciliation. 4. Processing and managing all aspects of timekeeping, including review, verification, and maintenance of records. 5. Processing and distributing year-end tax documents, such as W-2s. 6. Collaborating with Human Resources and Accounting on all payroll related issues. 7. Preparing reports for upper management, finance department, and auditors. 8. Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in payroll administration.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll administration, with a focus on payroll processing and payroll taxes. 2. Previous experience in the Construction industry is required. 3. A strong understanding of payroll software COINS 4. A thorough understanding of federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and regulations. 5. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. 6. Strong numerical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail. 7. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. 8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization. 9. A degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
