From fixing lights to fine-tuning rides, you’ll tackle challenges big and small to ensure a smooth, unforgettable guest experience every day. You’ll also lead by example through coaching other technicians, coordinating vendors, and rolling up your sleeves to get the job done. Qualifications & Experience
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily maintenance operations to ensure the attraction runs safely, smoothly, and efficiently.
Lead, train, and support Facilities Technicians while fostering a positive, proactive work environment.
Perform and oversee repairs on HVAC, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems.
Take on hands-on facility projects, including painting, drywall repair, lighting, and minor construction tasks.
Troubleshoot ride systems and themed equipment to minimize downtime and maximize guest enjoyment.
Coordinate and manage vendor relationships for specialized maintenance and repairs.
Execute preventive maintenance schedules and maintain accurate records of completed work.
Support opening, operating, and closing procedures to ensure all systems are guest-ready.
Step in to assist with custodial duties, exhibit setups, and facility upkeep as needed.
Always prioritize safety—for guests, team members, and yourself—while maintaining a can-do attitude!
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED required; technical college degree preferred.
Minimum of two years’ experience in maintenance, facilities, or a technical/themed attraction environment.
Hands-on knowledge of basic repairs, including painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to train and manage other technicians and coordinate vendor work.
Comfortable using computers and maintenance systems to log, track, and resolve issues.
Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, flexibility, and commitment to creating a safe, seamless, and fun environment for all guests.
