Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and certified CT Technologist to join our clinical care team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience and be proficient in all aspects of CT imaging, including IV administration, scan protocol management, and patient communication. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with providers and radiologists in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: Perform CT scans using Siemens Syngo.via software, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. Start and manage intravenous lines, flush ports, and administer contrast agents as clinically indicated. Maintain a safe and compliant scan area, adhering to all facility and regulatory standards. Protocol all imaging orders prior to scheduling and communicate any concerns or contraindications to providers. Review patient risk factors for IV contrast administration and ensure appropriate documentation. Utilize PACS systems (Merge and Philips), RIS, and EMR for imaging and patient data management. Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and radiologists to ensure optimal care and workflow.
Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience. ARRT (R)(CT) certification. OBMI Radiographer license. BLS certification for healthcare providers. Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
Preferred Skills: Strong IV placement and management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a clinical setting.
Additional Information: No travel required. Work is conducted entirely on-site; no home visits or multi-location shifts.
