The Investor Services Finance team provides financial analysis and business decision support for Schwab Retail Investor Services enterprise. The team's objectives are to help business partners drive operational leverage and maximize profitability through rigorous analysis to support strategic decision making and planning, understand business trends, and communicate performance.

This position will play a significant role in providing strategic financial support and analytical insights for our expanding Retail Digital Assets organization. This role offers high visibility across the Firm to influence business decision-making and help shape our company's digital asset roadmap.

What you have

5-7 years of experience in Finance, demonstrating progression into increasingly complex roles

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field

Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling

Excellent written and verbal communications and partnering skills. Demonstrated success in working with senior leaders and business partners

Strong attention to detail and accuracy with proven ability to identify and solve issues/challenges

Proactive self-starter and team player who can work independently in a challenging and fast-paced, time-sensitive environment

Demonstrate sound business judgement, strategic thinking, and ability to deal with ambiguity

Experience with ERP software or similar tools such as IBM Planning Analytic, Power BI, etc. SQL a plus.

MBA or equivalent graduate degree preferred

What you'll do:

Lead financial planning and analysis for the Digital Assets organization. Responsible for month-end close, variance analysis, quarterly financial forecasts, annual planning, and reporting for both revenues and expenses

Partner closely with various leaders across Schwab to drive critical analysis and communication in support of Schwab's digital assets roadmap and initiatives

Coordinate across the organization to ensure clear lines of communication to support an evolving and changing business model

Advise Retail Digital Assets business partners on strategic alternatives and the potential impact of decisions. Identify business performance and trends to provide actionable recommendations for business and finance leadership

Partner with other Schwab teams to evaluate new digital asset opportunities, build financial models, and develop business cases to help evaluate company's growth initiatives

Perform proactive ad-hoc analyses to support business programs

Fosters growth and development of peers on the team; being vested in the success of the team

Support people leaders within the broader Enterprise Finance team to drive team engagement, retention, and recruiting

In addition to the salary range, this position is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
