SAIC is seeking a self- motivated and efficient
Quality Assurance Supervisor
to support both existing and new programs. This position will be located in North Charleston, SC.
The QA Supervisor:
Directly supervises individual contributors (skilled technicians, administrative support) and/or entry-level professionals.
Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals.
Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance.
Administers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees.
Recommends changes to unit or sub-unit policies. Management reviews work to measure meeting of objectives.
Develops and implements programs/processes to establish and maintain quality standards of products and services. May also develop programs to focus employees on quality improvement.
Develops policies, procedures and methods to check product, material, components and/or operational quality and recommend improvements. May support the following areas: engineering, information technologies, business process improvement, etc.
Some travel may be required.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience.
Ability to read and interpret TDP and mechanical drawings
Troubleshooting of computer, radio/satellite and networks system
Experience replacing components, repairing simple electronic equipment; and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Strong communication skills including; technical, interpersonal, written, and verbal
Organization and Time Management Skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft 365
Strong technical, interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
Candidate must have the ability to operate effectively in a team environment and able to receive direction, and take constructive criticism.
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a secret security clearance
Desired:
Knowledge of MIL-STD-31000, Department of Defense (DoD) and industry documentation standards for Engineering and Design.
