We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience and a proven track record of drafting legal documents, managing cases, and interacting with clients. The ability to pay meticulous attention to detail and possess excellent communication skills is essential in this role.
Responsibilities: 1. Draft and revise a wide variety of legal documents including pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, deposition notices, pretrial orders, and correspondence. 2. Conduct legal research and factual investigation as needed. 3. Assist with case management, including maintaining and organizing case files, tracking deadlines, and coordinating with outside counsel. 4. Liaise with clients to gather information, provide updates, and answer queries related to their case. 5. Review and analyze discovery responses. 6. Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
Qualifications:
1. Paralegal experience is required, preferably within a law firm. 2. Proficiency in drafting and editing legal documents. 3. Exceptional client interaction skills. 4. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. 5. Excellent case management abilities, including the capacity to manage large amounts of data and handle deadlines effectively. 6. Superior verbal and written communication skills. 7. Proficiency with legal research software and case management systems.
