Job Details

We are seeking a seasoned Mortgage Compliance Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is a critical part of our organization, ensuring that we adhere to all regulations and guidelines within the mortgage industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of mortgage compliance, from monitoring and reporting to ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization, and we are looking for a professional with a deep understanding of the mortgage industry.

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive mortgage compliance program. Monitor and report on the organization's compliance with mortgage regulations and laws. Provide guidance on non-QM, DU, FNMA, Jumbo, and residential mortgage products. Maintain a thorough understanding of Fannie Mae guidelines and Direct Endorsement process. Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments, identifying areas of non-compliance and implementing corrective actions. Stay abreast of regulatory changes within the mortgage industry and adapt compliance program as necessary. Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance matters, creating a culture of compliance within the organization. Liaise with regulators and auditors during compliance reviews and audits. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage compliance, with a focus on monitoring, reporting, non-QM, DU, FNMA, Jumbo, and residential mortgage products. In-depth knowledge of Fannie Mae guidelines and Direct Endorsement process. Extensive experience with regulatory requirements within the mortgage industry. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and assess compliance risks. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex compliance issues to staff and senior management.
