Job Description:
Discovery and project initiation of innovative tumor targets
Lead the early target discovery, assessment and project initiation in the global oncology field, and build an internationally competitive oncology innovation pipeline
Establish a science-driven project initiation and evaluation system, integrating disease biology, translational medicine, competitive landscape and commercialization potential analysis
Strategic R&D planning
Formulate a 3-5 year R&D strategy in the field of oncology and lay out the next-generation tumor treatment technologies
Promote the application of AI/ machine learning in the discovery of tumor targets and the development of biomarkers
Explore cross-therapeutic opportunities in the fields of oncology and metabolism, autoimmunity, etc
Research leadership and decision-making
Lead the tumor biology team (covering target discovery, disease models, mechanism research, etc.)
As a core member of scientific decision-making, participate in the Go/No-go decision-making of the company's oncology pipeline
Lead strategic cooperation with the world's top academic institutions, clinical centers and Biotech companies
External Innovation and Ecosystem Construction
Evaluate early-stage innovative projects in the global oncology field and lead the scientific due diligence of BD transactions
Establish a tumor KOL network to obtain cutting-edge clinical insights to guide early research and development
The Successful Applicant:
Ph.D. in biology or related disciplines with at least 15 years drug discovery and development experiences in oncology or immunology.
Solid publication record.
Working experiences in leading Pharmaceutical or biotech companies.
Prior experience of leading target identification and validation.
Strong interpersonal capabilities and ability to build a product research team.
