You will be the Expediter Manufacturing Spec for the Manufacturing Operations team. Our team is responsible for ensuring timely material flow to support production schedules and commitments.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Expediter Manufacturing Spec you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of parts and supplies, monitoring schedules, and communicating material status to stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Expedite, route, and dispatch materials and parts according to production schedules.
Review the master production schedule, identify potential shortages, and alert the appropriate authorities.
Generate progress reports on schedule status and maintain records of completed orders.
Take corrective actions such as repairing damaged material or arranging in‑house transportation to keep production on track.
Report completion dates, material substitutions, shortages, and any schedule modifications.

Basic Qualifications:
Forklift and other material movement equipment experience.
Inventory control experience.
Have Leadership capabilities.
SAP/Apriso Warehouse Management Experience.
PP&C Experience in a manufacturing environment
Must be able to work a Third Shift

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
